Currently, he co-owns the Brownie Bar Bakery and is the Founding Director of the Small Business Association of the Midlands. Michael Mitilier boasts an impressive career spanning over three decades, with expertise in training, management, human relations, and marketing. His comprehensive experience has seen him excel in roles focusing on maximizing the strengths and skills of individuals, managing complex projects, human resources, and customer service.
Currently, Michael is the Co-Owner of the Brownie Bar Bakery, a position he has held since May 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Assistant Director of Iowa Western SBDC (Small Business Development Center) from April 2016 to January 2022, where he trained, monitored, and evaluated small business owners' goals, organized training workshops and seminars, and established and maintained community partnerships.

Michael is also the Founding Director of the Small Business Association of the Midlands, a role he has held since August 2009. As the leader of this organization, he developed and refined the organization's vision and strategy, built and retained membership goals, and fostered strong community partnerships.
Between January 2005 and February 2008, Mitilier was the Director of Member Services and Education at the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands. In this role, he coordinated and conducted technology and professional development for members, managed a website project, and increased membership to over 230 agencies.
Michael was also the owner of MTS Training from November 1996 to April 2004, where he developed, coordinated and conducted technology for 200 corporations and managed an annual budget of $500,000.
Michael is an alumnus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication. He has also pursued various professional courses, including a Trainers Institute - ATD Nebraska, a Micro Computing Certificate - NE Business Development Center, a Nonprofit Leadership Academy, and a Certified Gallup Entrepreneur Acceleration System Guide. He is also a Certified Growth Wheel Small Business Advisor.
